PROJECT CHARGES WITHDRAWN ON FIRST DAY OF TRIAL

Magda Wyszomierska’s client had drug charges withdrawn on the first day of trial. The

charges formed part of a large Toronto project investigation. The defence stood firm in its

position that the Crown could not prove its case beyond a reasonable doubt. The Crown

ultimately agreed and withdrew the charges. September 2019
