Andrea has assisted in representing clients facing a variety of charges, including possession and trafficking of drugs and firearms, sexual assault, fraud, driving offences, as well as professional regulatory matters. Prior to joining HWJ Criminal Lawyers, Andrea articled with a respected criminal law firm in Toronto.

 

Andrea obtained her LL.B. from the University of Leicester. Before attending law school, Andrea earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from York University, completing a major in Human Rights & Equity Studies. She began her legal career as a law clerk, where she gained years of valuable experience navigating the justice system, with an interest in the protection of human rights. She is passionate about advocating for those facing legal challenges and strongly believes that everyone deserves the right to an effective defence.

 

Andrea was called to the Ontario bar in 2024 and is a member of the Criminal Lawyers’ Association.
